The Medline Basic Semi Electric Homecare Bed is lightweight, easy to use and easy to move. The foot section alone weighs only forty-two pounds. The remote allows for both the user and the caretaker to adjust the position of the bed easily with the touch of a button. With this bed, you are getting the most value with the features. The bed comes with a nine-volt battery backup in case there is a power failure meaning you can still adjust the position of the bed. 

The bed comes with added safety features built into the design. The headspring supports are recessed in order to prevent pinching and other injuries that may occur when the bed position is being adjusted. The footspring assembly also has a recessed design to prevent the chance of pinching.
